With the Student Self-Assessment and the Compass website, the GDM-C of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria offers two resources to support students in their academic and personal development.
The Resilience Self-Assessment Tool helps students to evaluate their ability to adapt and overcome challenges during their studies and beyond. It enables them to recognize their strengths, identify areas for development and gain insights into key topics such as self-reflection, procrastination and work-life balance. After completing the survey, all participants receive individual feedback on their strengths and weaknesses and support options as well as ideas for improvement.
COMPASS, on the other hand, is a practical platform that provides valuable information to help students find their way during their studies at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. It provides resources and guides on study techniques, time management, living, learning and orientation and is particularly helpful for first-semester students who are getting used to studying and want to find out more about FH Upper Austria and what it has to offer.
Students receive posts from the Compass website via the Studo app, which follow the academic year cycle.
