FH Upper Austria calls for participation in creative competition

Creativity Challenge on the topic of “Living Diversity”: Creative-artistic contributions of all kinds and from all backgrounds wanted

Whether old or young, professional or amateur - everyone can and should take part. We do not stand in the way of our participants in terms of artistic language either. Whether poetry or film and photography, painting or sculpture, radio spot, video, performance or music - everything is welcome. Only the submission deadline on April 8th is fixed. 

The works submitted should all relate to the theme. Artistic forms of expression presented as films, pieces of music, sound or video recordings and live performances must not exceed a total duration of three minutes.

A jury will then decide on the 12 winners, who will receive attractive prizes. In the case of large exhibits, photos or short films of them will suffice for the jury's assessment; the actual product can then be taken to the award ceremony. 

Since this years Diversity Day is being postponed to autumn, an alternative to the award ceremony is currently being sought. Participants will be informed personally.

Conditions of participation

• All employees, students, alumni, lecturers of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and the interested public are eligible to participate.
• By uploading/submitting, you confirm that you have the rights to the images/contributions, so that no third party can claim copyright to the submitted images/contributions.
• The UAS Upper Austria reserves the right to distribute, remix, adapt and build upon the work for commercial purposes, which includes distribution on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others, as well as use for print publications.
• Work submitted should be related to the theme of "Living Diversity".
• Please use short, meaningful file names and write a short description of the image/article (at least 100 characters).
• The resolution of the image should be at least 300 PPI.
• The maximum image size should not exceed 10 MB.
• The closing date for entries is April 8th, 2026, 23:59:59.
• Legal recourse is excluded.
