International students at Upper Austrian gingerbread manufacturer Kastner Lebzelterei
In the spirit of the holiday season the International Office of our School of Engineering organizes annual surprise Christmas get togethers for their incoming exchange students.
This year, the Christmas trip lead the incoming exchange students to the famous Upper Austrian gingerbread manufacturer Kastner Lebzelterei in Bad Leonfelden. The group learned about the history of gingerbread tradition, the importance of the right ingredients and every student even got to decorate a very own gingerbread heart as a souvenir or gift. Of course, some tasting had also been done in order to confirm the quality of the products before filling up everyone’s stock on sweets. For sure there will be some gingerbread Christmas gifts this year! J
